If there's a happier flower in the summer garden than a fluffy cupcake zinnia in peach, cream, blush, and butter yellow — we haven't found it. The Peaches and Cream Cresto! mix delivers lush, densely petaled blooms that look like they were piped from a pastry bag, in a palette so warm and inviting that any garden or vase feels like a celebration. Easy, rewarding, and gloriously prolific.

HISTORY & HERITAGE: Zinnias (Zinnia elegans) are native to Mexico, where they were cultivated by the Aztecs as garden flowers. Spanish explorers brought them to Europe in the 16th century. The crested "cupcake" form was developed through selective breeding to produce the full, domed blooms we love today. They thrive in heat — the perfect high-summer flower when other annuals begin to fade.

GROWING GUIDE: Direct sow after last frost in full sun, pressing seeds lightly into prepared soil 1/4" deep, 6" apart. Thin to 12" as plants develop. Deadhead regularly for continuous blooming from midsummer to first frost. Excellent as cut flowers: harvest when outer petals are fully open. A butterfly and pollinator magnet. Days to first bloom: 60-70 days.

LIMITED RELEASE — Available exclusively in our signature cello packets, each featuring a mailable postcard with original botanical artwork.
