This is the packet for people who want their garden to look like it happened — lush, abundant, and gloriously unplanned. A florist's dream of warm shades curated for the summer cutting garden: Peaches and Cream Cresto Zinnias, Pacific Hawaiian Marigold, and Kiiro Cosmos, grown together in the spirit of scatter gardening, where the whole is always more beautiful than the sum of its parts.

This is polyculture in its most joyful form. Sow them all together in a sunny patch — or better yet, fling them into an existing bed and let them find their place. The zinnias will climb, the marigolds will anchor, the cosmos will weave between everything else with their feathery stems and warm, honeyed blooms. Together they attract a full season of pollinators, confuse pests, and produce armloads of cut flowers from midsummer to frost.

WHAT'S INSIDE: Three of our favorite warm-toned annuals, each a generous producer and a standout in the vase. Peaches and Cream Cresto Zinnias bring the fluffy, cupcake blooms in cream and blush. Pacific Hawaiian Marigold delivers bold, golden-orange heads that last forever in a vase and repel pests while they're at it. Kiiro Cosmos adds airy, lemon-yellow blooms on feathery foliage that moves beautifully in a breeze.

GROWING GUIDE: Direct sow all varieties together in full sun after last frost. Scatter seed across a prepared bed — no rows required. Thin lightly if you must, but don't fuss; these plants are happier with a little company. Water in well and step back. Deadhead regularly for continuous bloom, or simply harvest armloads for the vase every few days. The more you cut, the more they produce. Days to bloom: 60–75 days.
