Chives, Organic
Grow them for their tasty greens and flowers, but also for the pollinators who adore them!
Chive greens can be snipped with scissors (fun for kids!) and added to salads or cooked dishes for a mild oniony and verdant flavor. Their lavender flowers are edible too and make a bright pink vinegar! Once they’re established they’ll come back year after year. You can divide their clumps--they make the most charming kitchen garden edging. Keep some in a pot near your doorstep for a quick dinnertime foraging too.
Start indoors or direct sow in full sun to light shade in Spring.
